Picanha, also in the form of a steak, is a very popular piece of meat on the barbecue. Rarely do you see it being prepared as it is originally done in Brazil. There, the meat is cut into thick pieces, like steak, and then strung on skewers.
It is then sprinkled with salt and pepper and then prepared. The preparation is usually directly over burning wood or charcoal so that the picanha is well cooked. If you really want to serve it in a Brazilian way, take the skewer from the BBQ and cut pieces of the picanha at the table.
We have already cut the picanha into steaks, so that you can easily thread them on skewers.
The steaks are about 2 cm thick and are packed per kilo.
