The Krakauer an originally a Polish smoked sausage consists of lean pork and beef, bacon and various spices. It is a kind of coarse smoked sausage in a pork casing, which can be roasted, fried, boiled and even eaten raw.
The Krakauer sausage is therefore versatile and can be used in many dishes, for example as a variant of the curry sausage.
We find it most delicious to grill the sausage and serve on bun with fried onion rings and fine mustard.
