Pickling spices for meat. 100 grams per 1 liter of water
The brine needs 2 hours to get well into the fish/meat and to give it a delicious taste. Brine, very richly filled with spices such as, bay leaf, pepper, juniper berries, thyme etc.
Contents of 1 bag is 1000 grams
- Mix 100 grams per liter of water in a large saucepan and bring to a boil.
- Stir well and then add half a liter of cold water.
- Let cool outside
- Put the fish or meat in this brine for 2 hours
- Before smoking, pat fish dry well and allow to dry
