100 grams per 1 liter of water
The brine needs 2 hours to get well into the fish/meat and to give it a delicious taste. Brine, very richly filled with herbs such as bay leaf, pepper, juniper berries, thyme etc.
Content of 1 bag is 1000 grams
– Mix 100 grams per liter of water in a large pan and bring to the boil.
– Stir well and then add half a liter of cold water.
– Let it cool outside
– Put the fish or meat in this brine for 2 hours
– Before smoking, pat the fish well and let it dry
