Here are the a few tips on how to ensure a nice piece of meat on the table this holiday season!
- Order on time!
This is, well, the best tip we can give you! It offers many advantages, namely:
- The meat of your choice is in stock or coming back in stock the following week.
- The holidays this year fall rather unfavorably for delivery. Our last delivery day will be Friday, December 20.
- The delivery services are already busy, but it’s not chaos yet, so that also saves stress.
- We deliver our meat (with the exception of game) fresh, so it’s fine to freeze it after you receive it and thaw it 1 or 2 days before you need the meat. Game products do receive frozen.
- Don’t have room in your freezer? Then empty it out over the next few weeks to make room for what you want to order for during the holidays.
- On = in stock! We deliver fresh meat and that is also our limitation, because we cannot fill a freezer with meat and deliver it when we want. We depend on fresh supplies from local farmers and slaughterhouses. We also do not buy from abroad, because we cannot guarantee the quality and we do not know how the animals are treated. Quality of what we deliver is paramount and is more important to us than making money.
- Keep in mind that delivery services are busy. Ordering just before Christmas may result in your order being delivered late. Especially with Christmas falling so mid-week. Currently, we have already received restrictions from our carrier.
So again, order on time!
